If the tractor is everything you say it is, I would say trade. The M is a big tractor not like your 8N and will be harder to get around with, but it has more horsepower, can pull more, can just all around run circles around what the Ford can do. I am not sure about the condition of your 8N, but figure they generally sell between $1800 -$3200. If the M's widefront is original there is $750 - $1000 if aftermarket $250 - $500, the 3pt. is another $600, the motor is at least $500, and the time in sheetmetal and paint work. You already have at least already have $1500 - $2500 in new parts and goodies on the tractor. I would say trade. My self I am kind of wondering why he would want to trade, but everyone has their own reasons. Bill {Antique Acres}
