Thanks guys. I was considering going to check it out but you guys saved me from possibly doing something stupid.If it is only a 50 hp tractor it won't have enough power to run every implement I will need the next few years.I thought that price sounded steep but his ad made it seem almost too good not to check out.I am glad I asked on this forum rather than from the probably unscrupulous owner.It may well be a museum quality restoration but most vehicles in museums just have to look good,they don't have to do real work... I can't seem to find any good books out there on how to pick out a good used tractor but this forum may be even better....
