I'd take care of whatever problems you are having with the existing engine rather than swapping it for an engine that is WAY, WAY too big for the rest of the tractor. Remember that your existing engine is about 40 hp and the 350 is perhaps 250 or maybe even more. Horsepower isn't the only thing to consider since there is a lot of torque in your existing engine, but you are inviting lots of other problems witha swap like that. If that's your thing, go for it. But do it knowing your tractor becomes a novelty then and loses much of it's value, both to collectors and for day to day use.
