When I bought my #2424 IND. last year, I commented to the seller that it sounded like A 2cyl johnypopper. No comment in return. It`s allways been a little down on power too I think. Yup. Half of 25hp. is 12 or so right? A year later I do A compresson test, (too much trouble to take it with me when I shop) #1-55psi, #2-110, #3-55 #4-120. Now A little foam in the rad, no green stuff in the amber stuff yet though. No smoke ever, in A year of average use. My question is, what are the chances this is just A head gasket, not A broken head or warped block. PS. this is A C-146 eng. Thanks in advance, cross your fingers, J.
