I don't understand what you are saying. How do you know the coil is firing? Timing light on the high voltage wire? But no spark to plugs? Again with a timing light? If a timing light doesn't pick up a firing on the plug wires then timing is not the problem. Where is the current going if the coil fires but not the plug? Something shorted out in the distributor?
