Why would they do that. The SPX 2130 sparyer with a 125 HP rating, and it has a 5.9L Cummins engine. Even you have to admit Burns that the 5.9 Cummins is an outstanding motor, seeings how you have the light duty truck version in your Dodge. The SPX 3150 is running a 5.9 Cummins as well. The SPX 3200B is running a 200 HP 8.3L Case/Cummins and the SPX 4260 is running a 8.3 as well but rated at 260HP. There is no way in they would run a JD engine. The cummins are far suppior. If the JD was so great, then Agco and Case would be running the Deere engines instead of the dual over head cam ISX engine (in the new STX 4wd) N14, 8.3 and 5.9 Cummins engines in the Tractors. There is a reason everyone uses the outsourced Cummins. It's because they are a company that specifically deals with engines only. All their resources are focussed in the area of engines. Besides the John Deere motors are way obselete when compared to the technology in the cummins engines. Just my 2 cents.
