1466 PTO

I asked this question a while back but I could not remember the what the answer was to this question. I have a International 1466 with a 1000 rpm PTO and was wondering if you can somehow convert it to 540 rpm. Does it just involve pulling the pto assembly out and replacing it with a 540 unit. Also, any idea what doing this would cost. Thank you.
