i had the same problem on my 454, all that it needs is to be adgusted and what has also happened is that the key thing that moves up and down will have slipped out (thats what happened with mine) it may sound like a lot of hog wash to you but if you look in the manual it gives you a detailed description on how to fix it. i'm 15 years old and i fixed it without the manual by means of trial and error and i fiwed it, works great now if you need more help, just e-mail me or something!! hope you get it fixed, ours doesnt go at the moment because the guy that sold it to us did nothing other than to paint it so the diesel tank is blocked up but i hear that they are great tractors am i right???
