Super A generator acting strange

Last year my gen. wasn't charging, so I figured, it's dirty and sprayed some TV tuner cleaner in it well that fixed it, for awhile then it stoped charging again so I sprayed it again. It fixed it again, for awhile. Well enough of that I said I tore it down and went through it from one end to the other cleaned everything replaced the brushes polarized it and put it back on the tractor. It worked great, for awhile. Now it really has me stumped. Here is the good part I said what the heck I'll spray it again. I did and it started charging again, for awhile. When I say awhile I mean about 4hr. of use.
