If your starter is okay, just trace things back to the battery from there. Make sure that the connection at the starter is good and that the cable ends are tight. Then check the starter button. We have 2 H's and 2 M's and a box full of old starter buttons that have gone bad. Make sure it's in neutral and have a helper hold the clutch down, then use a screwdriver, pliers, or jumper cables to arc across the two terminals. If the starter works, then replace the starter button. If not, then check the battery connections and the ground connection on the frame. The add-on terminal ends are notorious for developing corrosion and restricting current. Most of the time, we have problems with cable connections or that throw-away starter button. By the way, all of ours have been switched to 12 volt.
