Steve, The IHC 484 has a Neb Test rating of 41.79 PTO HP. The engine is a D-179 cu in, and has the same piston and sleeve common to that family of German built engines. Case/IH still uses the same family of engines in many of the utility tractors. Actually, other then sheet metal, very few changes have been made to the tractor since it was introduced in the early '70's, as the IHC 454. Good light loader tractor. Independent PTO, Hydrostatic power steering, Live hydraulics, and other features present on current production tractors. A GOOD UNIT, if it has been given good care. Just check out and test drive/operate through all gears. (8 forward & 4 reverse). Good luck.
