I have an International 300 Utility. It used to run when I bought it, but shortly after it became very hard to start. I began to investigate as to why, and I am STILL WAITING for my manuals to come in the mail. The engine is gasoline converted to 12 volt. I cannot get any fire at the plugs. I have replaced the plugs, the plug wires, the distributor cap, rotor button, condensor, points, and coil, I have repaired a few wires between the ballast resistor and the coil that were old and falling apart. But I cannot get any fire. The battery is strong, and the starter easily turns the engine. But when I inspect the plugs during cranking, there is no spark, further, if I inspect the points during cranking, there is no spark. There is current traveling across the resistor into the coil, but no spark Any ideas?? I am really stumped with this one. P.S. The points are gapped to 0.018 HELP!!!! Thank you Scott Otoupal
