If you don't already have one you might want to pick up a service manuel or IT manual for the tractor before you start. Have been comtemplating overhauling the TA on my SMTA and reading the books on it. I believe parts are still available and there are some places that offer complete rebuilt TAs, a bit pricy though, good luck on it
