Paul,

I'm the guy with the tricycle Cub. It is, of course, not offered as an example to follow, but also not intended to be a money pit. The time required will keep me off golf courses and out of bars. Many will think it is a completely nutty idea and they may be right. The following is a letter I sent to another group early in the project soliciting opinions. I have received a LOT of good feedback. Maybe it would be instructive for Bill C.
-----------
I have been jabbering about a lot of off topic stuff lately, but this really
is tractor related. I have taken the first few faltering steps on the
project I expect to take to Portland next year. This will be a !@#$% Cub,
modified to resemble a miniature Farmall B. It will be built from spare
parts. I expect to add a second platform and seat on the left side, so it
can be a proper 2 place butt buggy. So many have documented their projects
that I thought I would too. I find all of them interesting.

I have sent the engine out to have the hard valve seats installed, so while
I'm waiting for it I have been working on the front end. The front end is
far enough along that I'm convinced it will work. I have started an album
on Photopoint at;
http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=135183&a=10241144

If anyone cares to look, I'd appreciate feedback. To make it easier, I have
provided a ballot to punch.

...1. Have you completely lost your mind?

...2. You have too much free time on your hands.

...3. It will look better if you paint it green and yellow.

...4. Why?

...5. I H C should have done this in the first place.

...6 What will this goofy thing be good for?

...7 What a waste of good tractor parts.

...8 Now we're getting someplace!

...9 Attaboy!

...10 None of the above.

If I follow through on my intentions, I expect to add regular updates,
depending on feedback.
