I just recently bought a Super M and it had power steering on it but the pump is missing.Could I take the unit off the steering shaft and add a piece to the shaft and just have manual steering or would it be better to find a steering shaft somewhere?Have some of you done this to yours?I would like to get a pump but I am going to pull it and do not need the extra load on the engine.P.S.this is by far the smoothest running tractor I've ever owned.I had an Allis WD that I thought was smooth but the old M has got it beat. Thanks Jack(TN).
