F-14's right - for $165 you will have known good parts instead of questionable welds. My opinion is that's money well spent. What caused it? The twin to my SM rolled back in it's working days. (Was flipped end over end several times, not sideways - a long story but no one was hurt...) Anyway a similar crack was discovered in the upper bolster wishbone casting. Swapping in a good casting from the boneyard was the fix. Bob M PS - Nice pix!
