I broke my holster on my 574

one week after putting $500 into a new water pump and a rebuilt radiator I was ruffing up some Ice on my lane with my loader bucket (going up hill even) when I hit a little 3" rock frozen in my lane. Must have had everything lined up at just the right angle. First thing that happens is fan shroud pieces fly everywhere. Get it back to the shop and discover that my holster has broken clean into! ( for those who don't know what that is it is the big cast thing in front of the engine block that just about everything else up front bolts to). $50 shroud, $1,800 holster, and about $1,000+ in labor if Case even had one in inventory. Now I wait as they search for a used one to find out whether I have insurance repair it or total it if parts are not found. Wouldn't hurt so bad but I have tweaked this tractor in recent years with two new rear tires, all new tierods and a rebuilt steering cylinder and all leaks fixed! Not including the new radiator and waterpump and the new oil change with 15 minutes on it!
