1939 Massey Harris 101 Senior Antique Tractor
| Sorry about the first photo. This Tractor has been in and out of our family a few times, but here to stay from here on out. My dad bought her after the Korean War to plow snow at a filling station he owned. My grandfather used Masseys on his farm with my dad. He then sold it to a farmer from our home town in Iowa. In the 70's we bought it back for 70.00 (scrap price). We restored her to the orig. contition. We recently drove her on the Great Tractor Drive Across Iowa. We did do some pulling in Antique tractor pulls and did well seeing that we were all stock. With the original Chyrsler Industrial engine. We retired her from pulling because parts are so hard to come by, but we still take her out for hay rides and other adventures. Our Ol' Sweet Massey has lots of storys, many more than I can tell. All I know is when I get into the seat and start her up, WE BOTH SMILE. Submitted by Tracy Bradley, from NE |
