John Deere 24-T Square Baler Antique Tractor
| We bought this Baler in the spring of 2000, for 500 The wheels were about to fall off, it was terribly rusted, only about half of the pickup teeth were actually there, and of course, it would'nt tie. The surprising thing is, is that we have only put 300 into making it look like this, we replaced all missing teeth, 4 pickup strippers, bushings in the plunger head, and Straightened the tucker finger control bar. 5 hours of sanding, 8 cans of John Deere green, and 4 Cans of John Deere Yellow, was all it took. It Baled 1200 bales this season, and only missed 3 ties. Submitted by Chris Anderson, from VA |
