Anyone in the Mid-Hudson New York State area interested in picking up a Jacobsen Chief 800 Tractor with bad clutch and a belt that slips when using 42" mower deck. It comes with snow plow. Kohler engine and body in very good condition.Approximately 30 Years old? Will take best offer. No shipping.

Could anyone date the jacobsen chief serial no 030396964 with 10 h.p. electric start Kohler engine also did jacobsen make any culivator attactments for this model particularly a plough.

I think you can get it out with a shovel. It might take you all day, but you'd get it after awhile. Get the dirt out from in front of the front tires as that holds it back more than anything, but also dig out whats in the way of the rear wheels.
