A good friend of mine is living on the same property that his family has lived on for about 110 years, not too far away. He has an Adams Road Patrol #4 grader that he thinks he might want to sell. I've told him to keep it, not only because he doesn't need the money, but when the dust has settled. he's only got some extra cash but someone else has his family's Road Patrol, which he isn't going to get back. It's a good working unit, probably was originally horse drawn and now has been adapted to tow behind a tractor. He still uses it occasionally to grade his driveway and move the gravel back into the middle area. Just how rare are these units? And if he was going to sell it (and I'm not going to buy it), how much would it be worth (in US dollars)?

FYI I just paid $200 for a small pull Adams road patrol. Still has a lot of yellow paint yet, nice placard, but does not say number or size. I easily pull it with my alis C. I think I should use my M, it would be safer. One gear is missing, I connected a chain binder to it and can raise or lower that side one notch. I shouldn"t have a problem finding a useable gear. I can"t seem to find a picture of a similar one anywhere on the internet.
