This fuel strainer assembly goes on a tractor with 2 tanks, at least I think. The main part and the bail look to be made out of brass (after sandblasting) and on the exit end it has "out" in raised letters. The ends are 5/16" flare tubing and actually it is in good shape. I had it on my tractor until I found the right one I needed so this is a spare at the moment. But, everyone I have asked can't give me an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I hate having parts around home here and not know what they fit. :)

My father has a small garden tractor that has porter cable on the front of the hood, he has been unable to find out any information on any tractors with that make. Does any one have any information on such a make or where I could locate any information.

i have a small porter cable garden tractor that my father bought new in 1962. it had a mower deck & plow. we used it for years till parts started wearing out. he couldn't find parts so he parked it. i still have it & would like to know if you can get parts anywhere. i heard in the 1960's porter cable had a gas powered division that burned down and they stopped making gas powered products.

Could be from a Mc Cormic Deering IHC tractor they used one like that so the gasoline starter tank could be used and then switched over to kerosene or distillate

I've got the same strainer on one of my Massey Harris 101 Juniors, however it probably wasn't the original one. It certainly is a nice little piece, particularly made out of solid brass. Just keep it in your 'collectables' stuff, it's worthwhile just looking at.

IT looks like one from an old case dual fuel. I no longer have that tractor so I can't check it.
