I"m sorry for not believing you about Global Warming!! It seems to me that when a piece of ice falls off the North Pole ice shelf it just disappears until it comes to the forever frozen tundra of South Central Wisconsin and then reforms into another 6-10" of snow (yesterday)which only ever disappears for a few hours at a time. The other thing affecting our weather here is the 100+ windmills that were erected 40 miles east of here last winter, and appear to be blowing all the warm weather back west and south. Sorry Al, I"ll never disbelieve you again.

Gosh,,, A 50 year payoff if it never needed maintance.

Supervisor of Harrison Twp, MI (east side of state) wants to put up windmills on the shores of Lake St. Clair. I've been on the lake on more calm days than windy days. Jenny (the Gov) and gang are counting on Wind Power to save Michigan's economy. Just goes to show what kind of brain trusts are running the state. There are places where windmills MIGHT get a return on investment. I don't think Michigan is one of them. They should be focusing on getting us weaned off oil for our cars (electric or hydrogen fuel cell) and build nuclear power plants to provide the additional electric power to do it. Sounds simple but they'd run into a few tree-huggers and NIMBYs that will protest and nix the deals and the politicians of today don't have the kohoneys to stand up to them.

Where in Harrison Twp. are you. My parents live in Chesterfield Twp.

I didnt know that Jenny the ignoramous was planning on doing this. She and the Mich. legislature should focus on cutting taxes. (oops....that would make sense)

You should load up your pick-up with some of that snow and drive it to the Rockies.

Lots of reds and browns on this here map.
