My buddy dragged me out for a beer last night after I got my chores done. And in the bar was a very beautiful gal that works at the bank. I was waiting for the chance to get to talk to her outside of work. So I bought her and her friends a few drinks and got a chance to spend a few hours with her...Then when she was getting ready to leave, this guy I went to school with and is the biggest #$%# in town and has 4 children with different women and doesnt take care ANY of them, HE was taking her home like they were on a date! I mean I spent 2.5 hrs at the table talking to her and he was NO where to be found!

What are women thinking!

I mean this guy doesnt even OWN a Tractor!

If she set there for over two hours drink'n your drinks and BS'n with you then left with another dude, she did you a favor. This was not her first go round and if you had gone home with her you might have to sand blast something other than an old tractor hood and soaked somthing other than an old carb in kerosene.

As some one else said, what you have there is a first class drink w****.

Better luck next time. Just remember it's cheaper and a better bet to buy her drinks on the way home.

I'm a thinkin ya aught to follow him into the can and discover for yourself --what you don't know about him. Sorry I had ta say that.

Remember what the differance is between AIDS & true love...one of them lasts forever.

Ok the real fact is men will never understand women, and visa versa. But we gota keep trying.
Usualy any person in a bar is not there for the cheerfull scene, or because they are thirsty. And as a general rule you sure as heck don't want to wake up with those type the second morning.

Take the ooooinkeeeer home, she woun't be a reproduction target for the rest of the boars, and she won't run off to easy either.

Meet in bar for drinks, take home or go to hers, 2 days later at board of health bend over and get needle in hind end, 2 weeks of pills and no drinking. Docs consultation in room with 5 others- all had same contact and told to get back in month for followup blood test. Friend sleeps in garage because wife tossed him out when she finds out he was also at party with carrier. STD prevention by M1 carbine- old lady says will shoot ba--s off if she gets another case of c--- from me. Bar scenes are not safe. RN

You treated her to nice and with that you didnt seal the deal. Should have treated her like crap when buying the drink, been like ill buy this drink but its gonna cost you later. For some reason chicks that hang out in bars are always go home with the jerks and losers.

By the way if a chicks in a bar and there single, 9 outta 10 they arent looking for the sweet, knight to sweep them off there feet forever, its more like take them home and their good morning, is replaced with "why the hell you still here."

Sounds like a common drink wh0re... and there's lots of them out there.
If all it cost you to get rid of that was a few drinks, it was an investment well made.
If you're just looking for some 'stress relief', there's no need being nice... a point the other fella proved.

The proverbial Cockshutt block, what you describe is a common occurance from what I've seen in the past, something going on behind the scenes, or who knows, plenty others out there, never get hung up on one like that.

After work one evening, decided to head over to a TGIF/Friday's, to have a few beers and watch the baseball game. Quiet place at the bar, few beers, good game and then head home, never was a lush, and of course having to drive used to be 1 beer/hour was safe for the BAC count.

The barstool next to me slides out and someone sits down, thinking to myself, yep always a guy with my luck, lots of other spots open, why here etc. :), oh well, then I glance over and I'm like Ralph Kramden, homana homana homana ! ..... . very attractive, seen her on TV, some cable access program of hers and in of the local flyers, she owned and managed a local health spa. I'm the type to respect ones space, so I kind of pretend to not notice her for a bit, small talk later, but thats it, figuring, she's probably doing the same thing as I, day is over time for a beer or what have you, who needs some annoying guy salivating over you etc.

Out of nowhere, some guy comes over sits down on her right and tries to leverage his way into the situation, I just keep minding my own business, granted she was very attractive and a very nice mannered gal, kind of hard not to notice that. Impressive person all the way around. This guy was just off the hook with his pick up "schtick" really pushing the high pressure sales, and I'm thinking this poor gal comes in for a drink and some down time, probably not wanting to deal with this. It's really funny what people do, this goes on until 11 PM, I've kept quiet mostly, little sarcasm and humor, finally the guy after all this asks for her number etc. She's like not interested, tries to squirm out of the situation, he's like (as if they knew each other for years) really pushing the ticket, "We need to talk" "can we talk?" he says, he's nervous and uneasy about himself, was drinking from an empty glass, I said " hows that air taste?" LOL She got a kick out of that one later. The guy was falling apart, drinking from an empty glass and acting like a stalker ! So she finally obliges and talks to him off to the side, and finally gets rid of him after hours of being annoyed with this, then comes back over. Wow, we both had a good laugh, I said, you're in here like me, just want to catch the game, little down time, yep.... I said I was thinking of asking you out, but the nervous schlep of a bar toad kind of ruined that, hogged all the time so I kept quiet. What was up with that guy I said, desperate or what, you were not expecting this I'll bet. She said heres the number, give me a call sometime, I said I'll walk you to your car and make sure no one follows you. funny... thinking to myself, in life you just have to play it cool and have lots of poise.

Who knows, this guy could have been off his rocker, some strange ones out there that is for sure.

My sister, only one in the family with a college education, first Husband was being locked up for non payment of child support by his first wife when she dated him -- she met second husband in re-hab -- not a success story. Bottom line was my Parents wound up paying for her and these two bums playing because they were not gonna see their grandchildren go without.

Oh also, better that guy to be paying child support in a year, rather than you. I knew a gal once that had 4 kids, 4 different guys. She was hired at the company I was at, she said if she found one more guy that made a decent living she could have 1 more kid and just retire. She was hot and looked like Jamie Pressly sure enough there were plenty of peckerwoods chasing her to the bar every payday. She "retired" about 7 months after being hired.

Reminds me of the girl our pastor's son just married. He's a career Marine and it was one-a-them 'get-the-cart-before-the-horse' pregnancies/marriages. This is her third marriage/third child; first was with a soldier; second with a sailor. I told the preacher that if she was a big league ball player, she'd be hitting for the circuit; only Coast Guard and Air Force to go..... ..

What I can't understand is these women who write in to the advice columns, gushing about this fantastic guy they met and go through two paragraphs about how wonderful he is.

Then they say he has only one minor flaw. He gets roaring drunk every Saturday night and beats the tar out of her and the kids.

What the heck is WRONG with these women? Is their self-esteem bottomed out to the point where they think they have to have a man in thier life, not matter what an obnoxious, losing jerk he is?

Look at the bright side...

If she was comfortable letting you buy her more than one drink, she'd be a constant drain on your wallet as long as you stayed with her.

Women don't go to bars to meet nice guys....

I've learned over the years that the truely 'beautiful' people usually don't look the part.
"Life ain't fair, deal with it" is one of the lines I raised my kids with.
Be thankful that she left with the other guy, you really don't want to be associated with a woman of that calibre.

Gonna be hard to find a decent gal in a bar. Beauty is only skin deep, I have known a lot of gorgeous witches. I met my wife at a past job. Before her I met the best gals in grocery stores, just have to be polite and smile a lot when you pass them. Most girls I met in bars were interested in only my money or my unit. I'd share the unit, not my money.
