Well, I am a good 200+ acres ahead of the planter. Planter is having electrical disabilities and really being a pain in the hinder. Amazing how we can go from barely being able to walk across a feild to it being so darn dry in a week. My beans are starting to pop outa the ground looking better for population than I feared. Corn is starting to pop out to, kinda worried how it will look what with all the issues with that 7000 when we started. LOT of volunteer corn in small areas. So far weeds are next to none. Oats are still doing good, and my rye is taller and thicker than any I have ever seen before. Still waiting on one shorthorn to calve. Utility line locator dude finally made it out, very rude person, so now I can actually START drilling post holes for that fence along that back road. Seems like my list of "to do's" is out pacing my list of" got er done's", but a promise to a friend to help, is something I follow through on, 240 more acres and then I can get back to this place's agenda!

One step forward and two steps back some days, but when I trip and fall I try to fall forward to gain a little ground:) Glad to hear things are going ok other than the busy schedule. I know what you mean on the moisture. Last week I was saying we have plenty of moisture, just need heat. Today I'm saying sure could use a good shower to get things growing again. Who knows?

Maybe you can draw some time from your Daylight Saving Account. Of course if you do be prepared to pay tax on it. It's saved pretax.

You need those metric hours. They're just a little bit more then a standard hour.
