Has any body ever built their own belsaw sharpener? I have a Bench grinder for sharpening Chain Saw Chains with a 1/4 hp motor, and I was wondering if I could adapt it into a belsaw sharpener. Instead of investing in another grinder, I was thinking if there was a way to do 2 jobs with one. Sharpen Saw Chains, and sharpen Circular Saw Blades and my Buss Saw blade. Is this possible?
Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Bruce.

You can buy genuine Belsaw grinders on ebay for really cheap. I wouldn"t think it would be worth it to build one. Just my 0.02.

This is for Ray and all those who like to use the phrase, my 0.02 cents You can produce ¢ by holding down the Alt key and typing 0162 on the number pad. Here are a few other tricks that might come in handy.
¼ = 0188
½ = 0189
¾ = 0190
degrees ° =0176
