Anyone ever added a remote on a super A. I have a hay rake that required power up and down that I would like to use on my Super A. Thanks,
Tim

Hi Tim.
I have a Super A with remote's that I added. Use the remotes to angle a snow plow in the winter and for adjusting the depth of a garlic digger in the summer.
NawlensGator mention a machined piece used to tap into the hydraulics. Try this link to a by-pass block that's for sale on Ebay or send me a email for more info about it.

Pete

My Farmall A has a live pump added to the front directly off where the hand crank would go. Then various valves for the pieces of equipment I have. I have a IH 1000 one arm loader on it, a belly mower under it and the rear hitch has been converted to a 3 point lift with Cat 1 arms. I want to add a dual hydraulic coupler for a remote cylinder so I can lift my hyd cycle mower or my flare box or a wood splitter. If you'd like to see what it looks like, I can shoot some pictures and e-mail them.

I would love to see the set up. Mine has a full time pump that operates the two enclosed cylinders right under the gas tank. This gives me 3 point and from cultivator control but no remote conections. I was wondering if anyone had ever tee into these existing lines and riged a remote conection. Seems like you would have to have valves to isolate the existing system otherwise it would just bypass through the existing control system. Please send me pictures of your set up. Perhaps I could just have a dual system, one like yours for remotes and leave the existing system alone.

They sell a machined splitter block that fits between the hydraulic lines and the TC unit. It bolts right up. You can buy them new (maybe on this site) for about $75. You then need the remote valves and hoses. I saw a cub with 4 separate hydraulic controls using the cub splitter block.
