Whooeee! That was a wait! :>)

Mice got to my F2 Gleaner manual. Really worked 'er over good.

So, I figured I'd just get another off of ebay, right?

Wrong. Been checking 3 times a day for almost a year now. Waiting, waiting, yawn, waiting. :>)

Anyhoo, finally one poked it's head up. Notice the serial number. They only built that goofy thing one year. :>(

Are you 100% certain that it is not available from your Agco dealer, either as a reprint or PDF?

Oh, I dunno Paul,

Was pretty downhearted when I found the manual laying on the cab floor with that window broken out. Just wanted another good original.

It has been treated pretty much the same way the machine was, I guess. :>(

It definitely pays to keep that search going, especially when all else fails, something will turn up on e-bay. I think it took a few years to find one specific to my old rotary cutter, it's nothing complicated like that combine, but just one page out of that book turned out to be some real valuable information and I learned a few things, including the correct adjustment for the cutter, new blades and properly adjusted it was flinging big clumps of grass at me, cutting so much easier and uniformly, less strain for the tractor.

There are some books for equipment that I actually needed, and have also collected extras for re-sale later, that for the most part do not turn up in a search, due to the many ways they can be listed, you just have to root em out by hand which is a time consuming task, but usually worth it beacuse they do turn up often with a buy it now price on it, other times they draw some attention and the price goes way up.

Not even! :>)

There are lots of places on that machine that are totally different from another F2 or even an F for that matter. The way things are set up; just different for that one single year and which none of the other manuals show.

That's why I was kind of "disparate" for the darned manual. :>(

However, she's comin' together and the wheat is growing. If I can just get 'er done in time!
