Alright, rebuilt the brakes on a 706 Diesel. New discs, piston, springs, seals, and o-rings all from an A&I kit. Also cleaned up the iron discs. Moved the adjusting screws to about halfway of their travel. Buttoned everything back up and had a helper with me to bleed the brakes. Bled them just like any old clutch or auto brakes. Had my helper hop on and try it...the brakes are locked solid. Shut the tractor off, waited a minute or two and tried again. I can get the right one to loosen up a little bit, but it sounds awful and the left one won't budge. I think I either messed something up with the adjustment screws or I have too much pressure behind the piston. Could sure use some guidance. Thank you very much folks.

My manual is in the shop but if I remember you need to screw those adjusters all the way in. When you first apply the brakes they will self adjust. To bleed the brakes put a clear hose on the bleeder and put it in the dipstick tube. Start the tractor and crack the bleeder and hold the brake pedal down until the oil runs bubble free then tighten the screw.

Got the bleeding part right, but not the adjustment screw. Thanks for the help.

Looked in my manual this morning. I remembered correctaly. You screw them all the way in and they will self adjust with the first use of the brakes. Manual also says to coat the treads of the adjusters with a good quaility grease.
