The last two weeks have been nothing but rain, except the 2-3 days without, that were beautiful. Good news is i got alot planted BEFORE all this and got some peppers and onions in during those few precious days. Im waiting for parts for a mower and counting the days until the head and block for the B get here. So, for lack of anything better to do, i have been meticousally cleaning all the other parts of that tractor, and for the heck of it i tried those remaining pistons, only without oil so i wouldnt have to clean them again. I put them in the compressor and all 3 went into their sleeves almost effortlessly, although they diddnt really move well once in there probabally because of the lack of oil. Used a small fraction of the force i tried on the one i killed. That was nice for a change, better then my rant the other day,LOL

So , you've cleaned all the carbon, ridge reamed, honed 3 cylinders, did you find another piston ? Have you checked out the manuals to see what you are going to have to do when all the pieces are at hand ? Keep us up to date and check the Allis board, Brian Thompson is going down the trail you just left. We WILL get both you guys spoiled to the beauty of Persian Orange.

carbon is cleaned, there accually are no ridges to ream, and the cylenders were honed a while back. I read through that manuel and the old one, and learned alot from the process. I did find a piston

reading those books helps even if you don't plan on doing all that is in there but when it comes up at least you have an idea as to what is going on. glad you got the chance (rain forced) to set down and read them
