I got the 107 and it is pretty good lookin. The next question is how does this compare to a 149? Same frame? Will parts and attachments be interchangeable? tell me what you can about these two?

I think I have one that I bought at a auction w/ mower deck only three years ago. Seems I paid $200.00. I have a 123 and all the implments so I assumed I could use the 107 if the 123 died.

I have one in the yard a friend gave it to me It has an Onan engine in at will let it go real cheap. It runs but needs the fuel system cleaned.
Not sure about tranny or other pats maybe you can put the two together and have a real nice time. they make great Lawn tractor pullers.

I'd say its a bit high, but then everything depends on condition. If its all been garage kept and fluids maintained as it should its not to far out of line. Really - what's the cheapest you've seen a rear tine tiller sell for? And this one has a seat and snow blower (price a used snow blower thats runs?). Or you could push dirt or mow the lawn.

As I said if its in good condition and you have use for the attachments it not out of line. If its in rough condition and missing parts and manuals it could easily be less than half that.

Its only rated 10hp but my 109 (essentially the same Cub Cadet but with a wide frame) mowed faster than my 18hp MTD with the same size deck. Those old Koehlers had some serious power/torque.

Go hear for more information on a 107

Link

Link

107s were built from 1969 to 1971. They had the Sundstrand hydrostat unit for a transmission that is linked to the same rear axle setup that the Cub tractor had. As long as they are maintained they just about last forever. When abused they can still last almost as long.

Given their age you might need to be a bit handy to tinker on them to keep them running.
