no, it isnt restored it may have been refurbished at one time, all my tractors are refurbished, that means they look and run better than when i got them [ all mine are workin tractors except for a fergy i havent got to yet] "restored" is more than a good power wash and a couple cans of spray paint, to me it means the thing is taken complety apart down to base componets, then every single piece of it down to the smallest nut and washer is correct to original and brought up to factory specs when it was new, for a tractor you may have 25 thousand bucks in a machine that sells everyday for 2 thousand so unless its a family tractor and your planning on it being handed down from now on it usually isnt done, but a nice refurbished tractor is fun to do and cost efective to do too, if a tractor is indeed restored it should have a paper trail to prove it[ recipts for parts and machine work done ect] if none exists buyer beware

Restored? To what standard?

Maybe he just "restored" it to the condition it was in when he got it...meaning that, at one point, it was actually worse than this.

He needs to look at this WD45. It was repainted for the original owner by his daughter for last Christmas. The painting was done by a man in Ohio. Hal

I am guessing by "restored" he thinks "re-stored", he moved it from where the birds didnt poop on it, and re-stored it outside.

In the first picture, it looks like you get some bird sh** FREE... He must just use that tractor a lot and wore all of the paint off. :-) ....JB

You shoulda saw it before..... ..... .

I'd be glad if I had the time to clean mine enough to put a stripe of paint on it. Restoration (at least the color and a couple of seals are a twinkle in the eye, but about all I get to restore is the fuel and fluid levels.

As good as any of our tractor's will ever get. Mind you, I don't refer to them as being restored
That is the worst I've seen pics of yet. Is it that hard to put some paint on a tractor?
