I have an extra $40.00 coupon for a TV converter box if anyone is need of one. I put one of the tv's on cable and do not need this coupon and it will expire on June 13th. I bought my converter at Walmart for $ 49.97. It cost me $10.00 plus tax and it works fine. I don't get the channels out of PA with cable. Anyone interested send me an email and I will mail it to you. Hal

El Toro said: (quoted from post at 09:26:44 05/13/08) It will only pick up the channels that are using digital. I can only get 2 or 3 channels. That will probably change by Feb 2009. I can receive more channels using rabbit ears. The converter I bought from Walmart is Magnavox. Set your tuner on Channel 3. It's easy to hookup. Hal
Practically all the stations are already broadcasting digital in addition to the current analog signals. If you are nto getting them you may need to redo your antenna system. The digital signals are UHF, and the long antenna arms will not be used anymore, only the short arms on the front. If you currently receive UHF stations you should be ok. I got an RCA converter, and the remote is dual function that will allow you to control the tv with the same unit.

I have rabbit ears on the TV. How's all that flooding out your way doing now? I have cable throughout the house from the basement to the second floor, but no stations out of PA. I have an antenna in the attic, but I wired it to the first floor when I built the house. It would probably pickup more stations than the rabbit ears. I may be able to get to the antenna wire from the space above the garage. I may take
a look at that on Thurs. Hal

How long did it take to get one? I filed on 4/3, and haven't seen anything yet. Starting to get worried--except that I bought a HD tuner for $180 a couple years ago.

I think I called them this past January and I received them in March. You will probably get them in July. You will then have 90 days to use them. Hal

How long did it take you to get them? Over 2 month ago sent for them and have not heard anything, Wonder if they ran out of them.

I ordered two by phone Saturday. The computer generated voice said it could take up to 12 weeks for delivery. Coupons are good for 90 days. Check your TV manual, ATSC tuners are digital and require no converter. NTSC tuners are analog and do need the converter. If on satellite or cable you don't need them either. David.
