When it comes right down to it, if the label doesn't approve the use of a given product on a certain crop, DON'T use it on that crop.
'Here' at least, if we were to use a product on a crop that it's not registered for, we'd be breaking the law, etc. etc. There's generally a reason why it's not registered. It's not that sweet corn is such an insignificant crop that they couldn't bother going through the registration process.

Local canning company we grow sweet corn for does not allow us to plant sweet corn on ground that was sprayed with harness or even if it was sprayed with harnesss the year before for another crop. I do not know if this is just a precaution or if it hurts the corn. Just what i know.

Thanks Gene and Paul, I know Sw. corn is touchy, thats why I asked the question. I,ve been growing 7 acres of Sw. corn for 25 years, but a neighbor always sprayed the herbicide for me but he,s passed away. I,ve got to figure out what I can spray for both pre and post emerge. I just purchased Harness but the label and google info is not clear on this question.

Local custom spray outfit says that sweet corn is touchy when it comes to spray. Thats what they told my neighbor who sells it by the pickup load.

Come on Corns corn. What it says for field corn works on sweet corn, just read the safe time.
BUT why would you spray it unless you have planted a lot, then I expect you'll "how do I harvest it?".
I bought an old push mower and mow between the rows every so often. Don't usually have too many weeds till after the 4th of July.

My sweet corn did better with out spraying, and I had lots of new customers when word was out that I didnt spray. I did cultivate, and made the little ones spend some hours pulling weeds

I would not eat it either if I knew it was sprayed. Where do you think all this cancer in the country is coming from?

Sweet corn can be much more touchy about herbicides than field corn, so a good question.

I don't know the answer, haven't done sweet corn other than a row I hoe back years ago.
