Bought this P3-6 11 foot drill Sunday at an auction. If works good it will replace the Van Brunt on high steel.

Trying to figure out settings.Chart under the seed box lid is real hard to impossible to read. We'll use it for wheat, oats and alfalfa.

Very little activity in fields around here due to wet spring. If weather holds out,may seed on Wed.I'm in SE Minn.

Anyone have a chart or manual for this??? Anyone know settings? Maybe the same for a JD/Van Brunt? I know nuthin' 'bout a Moline. Email open.

Thanks!! ~brad

You may have to do it the old-fashioned way - put some wheat in it, count the # of turns of the drive wheel, and measure what comes out of a drop...

That would be more accurate than the manual, anyway, if the cups and or seed wheels have wear...

That's the problem with auctions.Every lever, handle, and adjustment has been played with by auction-goers.Oh yeah, had the pop cans and wrappers in the hoppers too.

May have caught wind of a farmer that uses one in my area. Now to track him down.Works at the local cannery,so who knows where he's at???

Thanks ~brad
