Hi folks,

has anyone used one of these, or something like it? I know, it's probably made in China, but I've got a container that I leave hanging on the back of my tractor until the last possible minute because it's such a bear to hook up.

Or does someone have an idea that would make things easier? Right now, my "Quick Hitch" is 2 U shaped post jacks with the rod (that is set in cement) sticking through the holes in my draw bar. Works, but I'd like to move a little closer to "uptown".

Thanks, Dave

It is of course from China, and it is flimsy - wouldn't want more than 30 hp of use out of it.

But it does work well, for the price - if they still do the $69.99 sale - can't be beat. It's light weight makes it real easy to remove if it's in the way, etc.

Many implements do not like the cat 1 top link hook - are slightly different hieghts, and do not have room to let a hook slip up from the bottom to grabe the implement. This is not the fault of the quickhitch. They do have an adaptor for difficult implements, but they don't advertise it much.

tractor by net dot com has a lot of conversations on the thing over there. They also are sponsered by an outfit making some lower link grab hooks, only need to fiddle with the top link then, might want to look at those.

I'm glad I bought mine, it's not the biggest best ever, but it works good for the price!

Works excelent, BUT it is setup for ASAE Cat 1, as long as your implement conforms to the Standard it will work. If not then you need to modify the implement to match.
I like mine so much I added one on the FEL so I can quickchange buckets/forks etc..

I can't vouch for the HF model, but I bought the JD quick hitch when I bought a new shredder last year, best money I ever spent. JD has made all their implements compatible. For others, you may have to modify the top hitch point on the implement somewhat to get it to work.
