Grease zerks

I have two grease zerks that have been broken off. Initially I thought they were rollpins in a kingpin, but there's a greasegun decal there and there's no hole on the other side. I would like to remove whatever is left of the zerk in the hole. Would an easy-out get it out, or should I try drilling? pb blaster?

I'm clueless on this one. I'd appreciate your advice.

Remember: some zerks do not screw in, but are
driven in-that is, the don"t have threads but
just serreted ridges.I have some like that in
a kit of zerks.

Northern Equipment sells a tool kit to do just what you want to do. Cheap too.

I would try the easyout first. Less shavings going where grease should go.

Me too. Will probably be all that he needs to do. Have done so in the past. Tap, tap, tap, turn out, replace.

If you try drilling use left handed drill bits. Sometimes the threads will stick on the bit and spin out. If theey dont ther's always the easyout
