Chisel Plowing, wrenching on an LA, BUSY day

Chisel plowed 80 acres today for the farm I work for and then got my cousins JD LA running that hasnt been ran for years (Rebuilt carb, rebuilt mag,new plugs,and a battery). I felt like I was in a time machine going from the massey to that JD. Anybody have/ know where to get an LA rim?

Ya, those JD's were way ahead of there time !

Very nice original LA. What state are you in ? That looks too unpitted to be from Ohio ?

Mike, Im from Mi, right outside of Flint. You cant tell me your stuff is any rustier than ours. lol This boy looks to be barn kept from day 1. Its a nice original unmolested tractor. I like this look better than a new paint job. Alex

A guy I know just got a LA rim from Restoration Supply in Bellingham Ma. he paid about $100. They have an 800# but off hand I don't know it. I'm sure there are others. Good luck Jim

LOL . I think he is lining up the appropriate size chisel, the one in the pic is usually paired up with a JD 8650, but he has that hooked up to other equipment right now.
