Valve guides in overhaul kit that I purchased don't look like the originals in 134 ci head off my 55 640. I've pulled the valves and springs from the head and it looks like exhaust guides are different from the intakes. The guides in the kit are flat on one end and tapered on the other, 2.5" long x .75" dia. Please see attache photo. I can send more if needed. Do I have a different head or are the guides wrong? Thanks.
P.S., My first time to include photos, please excuse duplicates.

Press out the old ones and mike them to be sure the new and old are the same. If the length is the same ,press them in with the tapered end to the spring side. Before you press out the old ones, measure how far above the head so you get the new ones the same.

Thanks, but they just don't look like the same guides.
