Oh yeah, temp in the mid 70's all week here in SCMI. Next week lows about 30 and snow. Just the way to start off May.

We are supposed to get 8 to 12 inches of snow today here in MINNESOTA. I'm so sick of snow.

I've been fortunate enough in my life to never have been in nor near Minnesota. From what I read about its weather and government, for me it would be the place nearest Hell on Earth in the USA. I absolutely cannot see why ANYBODY would live in such a place unlessfor some reason they had no choice. I'm certainlly not fond of dreary, dank, dismal, damp, depressing, often chilly, Ohio, but compared to Minnesota, its Heaven. Mr. Bob

I think we've got pretty close to the 12 inches now, everything outside is totally white and it is still snowing... yuck.

Nice view of rolling hills and pine trees.

Did not know there were pine trees in Nebraska.

Never to old to learn something new every day.

[quote="Allan In NE"](quoted from post at 07:24:12 04/25/08) I was toyin' with the idea of headin' to the field today.
Guess maybe I'll wait a week and see how things are then. :>)

That is a pretty view. I've spent a lot of time in NE and never seen a view quite like that. Clearly I have to head farther west.

The "pretty" part is the snow.

Don't care if it comes in the form of lolypops, as long as it's wet. Hailed the day before last, but not enough of it. :>)

Had .30 of wet snow here on Wed. and has been in thirties for lows and highs since. That is the first rain and snow since five inches of DRY snow in Jan. that didn't hardly register moisture. Last good rain was last summer. Right now the ground here looks like your picture but is WET.

Had snow in Manitoba this week, too. We also need the moisture (any time, any way). We don't really need the freezing temperatures we've been getting.
