My GB Moline runs real rough. Then it backfires, then if you can set the throttle just right it smoothes out. What is the problem here?
It is an LP gas tractor. The distributor has never been out. I just replaced the points, condenser and rotor. Set the points to .020

First of all check to make sure your rotor is on correctly, and while the cap is off inspect it for cracks. I used to have a UTS and I did not get the rotor snapped back in place once after setting the points and it ran rough like that.
