If I want to post my picture at a dimension of 800x600 How do I change it if I post it in YT tractor gallery?

I've used xat for years for cropping/resizing photos; it's free/simple and works great. Different forums use/require different size photos. After resizing, I save them in a new folder in the same folder they came from..... ..named optomized or resized or whatever. Still have to use photobucket or another picture hosting site to get them on-line.

You got the method figured out.
Now get a free account at photobucket.com
Lets you post bigger pictures.
Much as I love YT they resize your photos down to something rather squinty.
Nice work by the way.

I don't think you can - from what I've seen, their gallery automatically resizes it to smaller than that... Like 344x255 or something...

You could post your pictures to another hosting site - like photobucket or flickr. Photobucket (the free version) lets you store 1024x768...

Thanks to onefarmer in reply to flying belgian, 04-22-2008 10:16:55
I`m the same way. I had some time to kill and found a link by onefarmer that completely outlines the process. Once you get your pictures to photobucket or whatever, follow his instructions and have at it.

Here`s the link:

Hey B W; looks like you got it down pat. Was it you who went to/lived in Brazil for a time a few years ago?
