Well folks, I went and did it. Got myself moved in up north on thursday. I'm sorry I haven't been updating much, but we've been busy! Took soil samples for a couple future EQUIP pastures and a hayfield among a few other things today. Planning on doing a brake job on a IH 706 and fixing the door latch on a NH 8360 along with a to do list as long as my hand and I wouldn't have it any other way. Got to watch a calf being born this morning. Just about 2/3 of the way through the calving. Got to meet "Dave from MN" on my way up on thursday. Had a good time chattin' and playin' fetch with the dogs. Got to see more chickens in one place than I've ever seen, too! Anyway, things are great up here and thanks to everyone for the advice and kind words!

Welcome to Mn. I think you will like it here. Great place to live even if the winters get a little long. Good luck in your new endeavors. Steve

Welcome to Minnesota! Me and my Dad went up to Baudette, MN today and we picked up a Farmall H with a loader. It was a long drive, but at least the weather was nice today.

Andy.

Excuse my ignorance, but where did you end up landing? Near Bagley?

About 4 miles south of Shevlin on Cty. 2. I go over the Bagley every sunday morning.

I'll be up at Itasca in late June; will be heading up to Bagley to visit the wife's family. Will probably drive right by.

Got a little drink yesterday and I haven't seen a cloud yet this morning. I swear it's greener than yesterday! Still got a little snow standing here and there though : (

I was wondering when you would be back on here. It was nice meeting you, wife is totally embarrassed for scooting like she did, she was very stressed from work and running a few hours behind, plus she wasnt to thrilled about having to bring the boys with her. She said to tell you she enjoyed meeting you and looks forward to visiting again someday, maybe with a little grillin and beers, or a Coke. You will have to bring the misses with you. The big ol Narmande had an awesome black bull calf. with the milk she is producing and with how long and stought he is I am kinda contemplating keeping him as a bull to sell. The yellow one had a full red heifer. Oh yeah, when you took off did you head north or did you head south back to Hwy 10? If ya headed south I am sorry for not telling you the shortcut.

Tell Lynn not to worry at all. I completely understand. Kelly's purdy excited to come down and hang out sometime. We'll work on gettin' that put together. When I left your house I headed north. LOTS of chicken barns...wow! Kinda snaked through MN and ended up getting home around 10. All was well and I slept like a log. Thanks again for the hospitality!

Hey Virgil I'm sorry I didn't make my way up to you like I said. I was beside myself the last couple days trying to get things straightened out. Perhaps on my next trip back to IL her and I can swing by. Hope so!
