I see on the Yanmar site...they have a dealer
in Osceola WI...not too far away. Greene Implement.

yanmar makes most of the small engines for those small "green and yellow" tractors now- check out your local John Deere shop.
Frankly, an engine is an engine- fixing it should be within the realm of any mechanic as long as he has access to the parts required to do the job. Yanmar parts are fairly readily available, since it's perhaps the most common "grey market" tractor out there.

I did one maybe 15-18 years ago but i am not form Wi. Got Shang Hied into it. Swore that i would never buy metric tools and had to buy a whole bunch just for one job . Almost like working on a toy.

Yanmar's one of the better diesels to be had, simple, straightforward, easy to build, the ones I've done had wet, replaceable sleeves. Not cheap tho.
