Uff-Da!

Gotta take the pickup into town tomorrow to get a new windsheild installed and thought I'd clean it up a little bit first.

Ya just don't know what your missing till ya farm in the gumbo. First step in washing a vehicle is to grab the spade. Darned stuff is like cement!

Truck has never been off the road neither. :>(

Some of my neighbors used to work at the Ford glass plant here in Nashville. This glass is stressed and once cracked can spread all over. Some simple things can make them shatter - usually sharp thing at edge like a flying rock.
I've had 2 cars do this but never could find the brick the conspiracists used.....Ford probes were bad about this the first couple of years but of course this doesn't appear to be one of those.

LOL - I like washing my vehicles in AZ, every couple of weeks I hose off the dust and dry 'em off.

They get a nasty film on them when it rains, though. All the oil/rubber/etc. off the highways makes the white car look almost black!

Nice job, I always hated the cleanup after the rain on the farm - seems like instead of picking one vehicle to dirty up, they take a turn on EACH ONE!

Darned it I know. Guess they found a rock chip in it.

I came out one day and it was cracked all the way across from one side to the 'tother. Maybe the weight of all that gumbo mud?

Gonna have to get the loader to clean all that crap off my drive anyhoo. :>)

sounds expensive. They always say that if ya got a chip in yer windshield to get it fixed right away or they will spread. don't know how true that is though
well at least ya get to use the tractor to clean up! ;)

Allan, looks like an excuse to show off your new truck. Hope it's not a power stroke unless you have deep pockets.

I bought a palsy little Dodge 2 door half ton with a Hemy for my trailer towing. Gets great mileage, runs like a cat and pulls anything I have on the lot.

Well it looks like the ones they have sitting on the new lots around here. Besides, what"s wrong with showing off a little. Work for your coins, buy something you want and enjoy it. If you weren"t proud of it you probably wouldn"t have bought it in the first place.

Are those trees the famous ponderosa pines? Look like th southern yellow pines that we have here to me. Probably close growth rings due to the dry climate and slow growth.

32 degrees forecast here tonight. Send the Chinook.

I "think" so. We call 'em jack pines, but pretty sure they are the ponderosa.

It's gonna warm up; promise. :>)
