This has just gotta be a conspiracy! It's an inside job, I tell ya!

The infrared quit on my camera and it will only throw black pictures. Without my camera, I'm speechless.

Are you fellas trying to shut me up or what? Which one of ya did it?

Don't think it's fair. Camera is only ‘bout 20 years old too. :>(

Allan

Allan if your into new digital cameras just get an SLR and be done with it. The compacts are just not worth the money, that said they are very good at stuffing in a shirt pocket.

Howard H put me onto this guys site, talks a lot but knows his stuff.

and with planting season just ahead, (did that snow come and go yet ?) a combine to finish, calves and all the rest, this could ruin the morale of the troops here and make some unsatisfied customers who are used to the regular posting of images, they may have withdrawal symptoms soon!

Now in lieu of all this, you realize what the punishment is for not posting photos ? Says here in fine print you'll need to get another IH tractor to fix up and post more photos to make up for the loss ;) !

Allan, be careful what you post... Or you are going to end up with guys shipping you truck loads of old camera parts.

For me, I'd rather see it all in black & white than go cold turkey. Keep posting.

Try photoing in more visible light. ~380 to 780 nanometers (vioet to blue) Those night shots you are famous for are interesting, but even a work light (within the above spectrum) would assist their interpretation. Jim

Stood out in the yard at high noon and pointed it directly at the sun. Flash still triggers and I get a black picture.

Think the darned gun is shot. Maybe it happened when if fell out of my shirt pocket on the cement drive? :>(

At least nowadays, the new ones are 4 times cheaper than they used to be.

That is farther out on the wortless spectrum than using a flash at the olympics opening ceremony from the top row of stands. That thing is 8.25 light minutes away, your flash was 1/100 of the way there when you moved the camera. It takes a bit more than 16 minutes for the round trip, just be patient. Astronomical photography is difficult without a tripod and a cup of coffee:-) Jim

Just trying to bring you into the 21st century. With the new smaller, high resolution cameras, longer battery life and easier downloading, when you get your new camera life will be much easier and you can take a lot more pictures to share with us.
My little Nikon fits in my shirt pocket and with the strap around my suspender, it is always at the ready for that surprise shot... Gene
