I got a call today that dad broke on of the yes off the loader frame that attatches to the bucket. I got it welded up and it looks ok, but time will tell. It was cast iron so I did everything the right way- Pre heat, post heat, cool it in sand, reverse polarity, Ni-Rod, etc etc... Just another fun day on the farm.

Biggest pain was welding upside down on the bottom of it. The vertical welds actually flowed pretty good.

Fields are way too wet, they'll probably dry up in time for me to go on our Honeymoon after we get married on the 10th. Hopefully we tleast get the tractors dualed up by then so Dad can work the fields a little if I can't help.

Tomorrow I quit my current job working nights and I'm going to a pattern shop and working days. Will be a change of pace, thats for sure.

Nice to hear from you again! I was just thinking about you this afternoon when I was looking at a magazine with Oliver tractors in it and I got to thinking about the photos you posted in the past. Then I thought of how long it had been since I saw you post, and I got a little concerned. I remembered you had a tragic death to deal with, and I hope things are as good as can be expected for you. I see you are getting married on May 10th. My brother is also getting married that day, so it will be a busy day for both of us. Nice to hear from you, and look forward to hearing from you often on the board.

We're doing alright considering. Life must go on and it's knida nice to have things that still have to be done like spring field work, although haying season will be a little hard to deal with now.
