But the way the weather man sounds it may be white again this weekend.

Friend that flys out of the airport next door took these for me.

This is my farm.

Nice pictures, Gary. Although I can sure start to feel the itch for spring.

We didn't get much winter here in SW Idaho (in the valleys) but the mountains did get quite a bit of snow.

How are the calves doing?

Short commute to work everyday ! Everything looks neat and tidy from the sky, even though the flat lands would be different for us hill dwellers to get used to, I see some woods and a few anthills in the distance ! The farmyards look nice with the trees around it, at least theres some shade when it's hot.

I saw the weather channel last night showing your area, another foot of snow, it'll melt quick, we usually get these weather patterns, seems like it's shifted west these last 2 years and we're getting the left overs, like last year would rain 1x per week, some 2 week stretches, then some rain, and that is ok, we've been soaked from '03-'06. '06, no decent hay was put up, just could not get any dry weather, corn did well, but hay was really tough unless you had a way to cut the drying time down.

Wow, that is really a beautiful scene, I would like to see that view in a month or so. Mother Nature can be a real bear to deal with, very trying at times.... but when everything falls into place, even if only for a short while, we realize how fortunate we really are. Always something to look forward to, thanks for sharing the pictures..... ..Tom

If this weather pattern keeps up it might be under water before too long. I'm trying to figure out how big of an outboard motor it would take to pull a 12 row planter.

I live between Iowa city and Cedar Rapids.Eastern Iowa

Those trees that border me on the left in the first photo are the south edge of the Coralville Reservoir.

Nice looking place-even if it is covered with that white stuff. We could use some wet stuff, white or not. It is so dry here that the farmers are waiting for moisture before they do to much. I worked in between some tree rows last week and there was no moisture turned up.
