I have purchased a Kemp Chipper Shredder Model K8D and have not been able to find any information on getting parts. Kemp is apparently out of business and a company that took over from them for a short period of time after Kemp went out of business. Any information would be apprciated.

Thanks ~ Kent

I just picked up a K6CH. It looked pretty rough, but it fired up and the guy helped me put it with all its heaviness into my truck. I have been looking and called the place in Lititz, PA. They have closed up. There is a power equipment dealer that has their old phone number and were kind enough to explain the situation.

A guy in England imported the Kemp machines untill Kemp closed. He is know manufacturing a near identical machine(Globeorganic.co.uk)or google globe garden master. I have tried to contact them, but they have not replied to my email.

This is the closest I could find as far as any manuals:

There is an interesting document there from WW Grinder comparing fixed and swing hammermills.

Good Luck,

Wes

What parts do you need? There isn't much to one of those old chippers that you couldn't find or make.

Could you and would you please send me all your photos of your unit and please if possible
could you scan/copy the manuals and email them in a file to me.

I do not know how to post this as a question to this web sight. So would you copy this and post it for me. Our email is wireless143@aol.com Thank you so very much in advance.

Hi, Janis,

Read your post while looking up pricing for the same model chipper. I am putting mine in a lawn sale, however, I do have the operating and maintenance instructions booklet and the operating manual. I would be happy to send you copies. I have a phone number of a Lawn and Garden Center in Pennsylvania that did sell parts at one time. The information is contained in this link:

I do not know if the Green Acres Lawn and Garden is still in business.

If I can help, give me a shout.

Best wishes,
Kathy

IF I can not find a parts place to fix something I want to buy and use. I figure if the price is cheap enough and it works. I will go ahead and get it and use it till it breaks down. Either I can fix it myself or scrap it. "Works for me"
