Ford 7000 3pt lift problem

I have had my Ford 7000 tractor for about 5 years. A couple of weeks ago the adjustable shaft that lifts the 3pt lower arm broke. The part is the shaft with the threads on the bottom and a gear on the top that is between the fork holding up the arm and the housing that is used to adjust height. I had it welded with a sleeve around it to increase the strength of the weld. It only lasted about 3 days using a spring tooth harrow before it was almost broke again. I bought a new resplacement assembly, after market. I have only used it to bring the harrow home from a neighboring farm about 3 miles and I see it is already bent pretty good.

I have used this tractor with many implements including snow plowing with a back blade which I would guess puts the most stress on this part for several years with no problem. It appears that something is binding to cause this kind of stress just carrying a load. When the arm is not loaded I can pick it up myself so I don't know what is going on here. Any ideas? I need to get some work done.

Its hard to picture bending one of those because there should be only straight down force on it. one possibility is that you need to take up on your stays,or maybe the the stay blocks are gone.I don't know which the 7000 has.

Is there any othere bent or broken pieces in the 3pt? It maybe time to repace the entire lift.

Just a guess.
